Mokra Gora is a picturesque mountain village that stretches between the mountains of Tara and Zlatibor. A popular attraction is the old narrow-gauge railway, Šarganska osmica, which runs 300 meters uphill and forms a perfect figure eight.
On the nearby Mećavnikse hill, there is an ethnic village of our celebrated film director Emir Kustirice, which was built in the local ethnic style. Visitors here can breathe in the unique atmosphere, enjoy nature, try local food and buy handmade souvenirs.
East of Mokra Gora is the village of Kremna, widely known for the prophets Milan Tarabić (1809-1854) and his cousin Mitra Tarabić (1829-1899).
You can visit this colorful attraction in winter from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and in summer from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Price of a ride on the Šarganská osmica: 1,500 dinars for adults, 750 dinars for children (from 6 to 14 years old).
Children up to 6 years old do not pay admission if they sit on their parents' lap, and if they occupy a separate seat, they pay the price of a child ticket.
