The church in Sirogojno dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was built in 1764. The founder of the temple was Georgije Smiljanić.
Around the church is a memorial complex to which the open-air Museum "Staro selo" belongs and is under the protection of the state.
The church is covered with a gabled wooden roof with a single gable base. A massive bell tower was added to the west side of the Church at the end of the 19th century.
The greatest value of the Church is the iconostasis, which is the first work of the greatest Serbian geographer Simeon Lazović. Tombstones from the 19th century with unique visual representations and texts are protected in the church gate.
