Tara National Park
In the western part of Serbia, bordered by the deep canyon of the Drina River, lies the Tara plain. This mountain was declared a National Park in 1981, where numerous plant and animal species are protected. Of the plant species, we should definitely single out Pančić's spruce, which was discovered by Josif Pančić on this very mountain in 1875.

• Departure in the morning from Zlatibor • Driving via Šljivovica and Kreman to Tara (Kaluđerski bars) • Arrival in Mitrovec, tour of Tepih meadow • Continuation of the road to Lake Perućac • Tour of the river Vrelo (river Godina, 365 m long) in Perućac • Lunch break at the nearby restaurant Vrelo • Continuation of the journey to Bajina Bašta with a break to photograph the House on the Drina • Departure to Rača Monastery from the 13th century • Return to Zlatibor in the afternoon
