Potpećka cave - Terziča avlija - Hydropower plant on Đetinja
The Hall of Dragons, Don Quixote, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are not only the titles of children's stories, but also natural decorations of the Potpeć Cave, located 14 km southeast of Užice. It is recognizable by the largest portal in the shape of a horseshoe in Serbia, 50m high, and an entrance - descent path with over 700 steps.
Zlakusa - a village once known for its poor potters, and today for its preserved tradition in the processing of clay objects, but in a new artistic way. The "Terzića avlija" ethno park is a kind of museum that shows a typical rural household from the beginning of the 20th century, with old houses and a garden.
The hydroelectric plant on the Djetinjiu Užice river was built in 1900 and is one of the symbols of this city. This is the first power station built according to Tesla's principles of polyphase currents in Europe (the second in the world after Niagara Falls). It is located under the Old Town of Užice and was designed by Đorđe Stanojević.
